Community Iftar - May 22, 2019

May 22, 2019 Greetings First Church Family and Friends, We have the wonderful opportunity to join our Muslim neighbors this Thursday evening from 7:30-9:30 pm for their community Iftar – the meal breaking the Ramadan fast. If you are interested, you will need to act quickly. Please RSVP to the number below today. I will be unable to join you due to a long standing prior commitment but please grab a buddy and go! Introduce yourself to Imam Allam and Dr. Jaber as members of First Church Brooklyn – they are expecting you. You will likely see Rabbi Serge Lippe, a good friend of our church, there as well. Our show of solidarity, especially following the mosque shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand, will mean so much to our interfaith community. Thank you for attending if you are able.
